Responding to the Tunesmiths challenge to write a news-related song, this piece is about the habit of various forms of media putting out stories that aren't necessarily full of fully-formed facts and the tendency for the recipient to believe things just because he or she has read or heard it. By checking the facts and shining a little light on it, it's possible to see that things aren't always the way they're made out to be.

Featuring Lins on dobro, vocals, lead guitar and Hammond, the drums were recorded by Lins' brother Ross Honeyman over in Australia to give the song the thump it needed. In-joke mispronunciation included for good measure.
